Q. How long does it take to receive an account number for a new applicant?
A. Once the applicant’s information is entered into the phone or Web system, it typically only takes seconds to receive a decision.
Q. How much of the treatment costs can I charge?
A. The patient can charge up to 100% of the treatment amount up to the account credit limit.
Q. Is a down payment required?
A. No – a down payment is not required.
Q. How long will it take me to receive the Care Credit card?
A. About 14 days.
Q. How soon can I use the Care Credit card after approval?
A. The Care Credit card is available for immediate use at participating healthcare provider locations as soon as it is approved.
Q. What if I want to enter my own application. Can I do this?
A. Yes. You may apply online at www.carecredit.com on your computer, or smart phone by calling toll-free 1-800-365-8295.
Q. What if I receive a response “Unable to render an immediate credit decision”. What do I do?
A. You will receive written notification of a final decision within 7-10 days. You must receive this letter before the application can be re-considered. Please call Care Credit’s toll-free number 1-800-859-9975 and speak to a representative to be reconsidered. Do not re-enter your application since duplicate applications are auto-cancelled.
